VR runtime for macOS · Beta 1.1.2
PC VR on your Mac
Your Windows VR games run in CrossOver. Herma is the runtime they talk to, and it streams them to your Meta Quest over Wi-Fi or a cable. No gaming PC, no Boot Camp, no second machine under the desk.

On the Mac
What it does
PC VR games running under CrossOver, with the controllers, the picture and the sound where the game expects them.
Streams to Meta Quest over your network or a USB-C cable, with hardware video encoding on Apple silicon. Plug in or unplug; it follows.
A lost packet is rebuilt on the headset. A frame that cannot be rebuilt is never shown: the last whole picture stays until the next one.
A place to stand between games, with your Mac's windows on a curved screen you can click with the controllers.
Height, arm length, hand speed, step length and the angle of each hand, set in the headset and kept for every game.
One button puts right the things that stop a VR game starting, and says what it changed.
Tested end to end
Menus, controllers and sound. More with every update, and each update says which.
